Good evening Scotty,I recently purchased an automatic awd 2005 Buick Rainier V8 with 124,000 @ offer up from a private seller.Of course the guy said the suv had zero issues.I went to get emissions next day and it didn't pass it,it needed a new fuse box because it had a short so I took it to a shop to get that fixed.That was a month ago yesterday I took it to my uncle's shop because it was making a thumping noise underneath specially when I push the brake.He discovered the awd motor was not even connected.My question is should I keep investing money in this vehicle or should I just use it as a down payment at a dealership.
You sure stepped in it. Didn't say how much you paid hope it wasn't much. It doesn't sound like this car is worth fixing but your going to have to decide because I can't for you.
