Scotty, what are some good tire brands for a daily driver.

Michelin makes a good tire that has good ratings. I've heard bad things about the Chinese tires. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the above mentioned tires.

Pirelli makes excellent tires. Continental does as well.

Yep, Continental has always done me well on lifespan.

Conditions still matter and what you expect of them.  Long life or comfort or control.  For daily's I go with tread life and get A rated on tread.  Typically I get Goodyear mostly but I have found over the years considerable variance over time. So I sometimes get a different brand if rating meets my spec and it's a sell (albeit only top brands).

I def prefer Mich for performance and they have a good ride... but I have never had them last to their rating (longevity)...might be my use of them tho...

I've found General Altimax RT43 to be very good tires at a good price. (General Tire is owned by Continental.)

I've had a good experience with the goodyear all season 3 tires 14  inch (still made in the USA 😮 ) . I bought one maybe 3 years ago that is holding its tread well as a rear tire and is still rubbery, not much cracking. Walmart had them at a low 40usd per as a black friday special last month. I picked up 4, I only needed 2 but I'm keeping them for later.

I put uniroyal tiger paw touring tires on my '14 camry. They have a very smooth ride, and I am very pleased.

Got Michelin "Defender" tires a few years ago.

I don't recommend.

Tread wear is poor.  Snow and ice traction average.

Cornering is blah.  But they are very quiet.

I love my Sumitomo (japanese made) ones for the price I paid, I think they're excellent.

Sumitomo isn’t very popular in North America. I asked couple of friends the Falken tire, they didn’t even hear before.

Pirelli and continental are good. BF goodrich makes a set of bomber all terrain tires too.

I heard michelin used to be good but quality has since gone downhill.

On-road tires, I love Michelin, continental.

Off-road tires, BFGoodrich AT KO2, Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac.

I’ve used Goodyear wranglers and never had an issue.

I’ve had great luck with Toyo & Bridgestone. But for me, for a regular daily driver, Michelins are the best.
