Scotty What's a good basic cheap reliable Truck for pulling a RV Trailer around?
Clarification: How much weight would you be towing?
Mid-late 90s Dodge Cummins with a manual transmission.
1999-2001 7.3 Ford Powerstroke.
Mid 2000s GM Duramax w/ Allison transmission.
@1980scarlover if you are looking down the gas route early-mid 2000s Chev 3/4 ton is good. If you can find a mid 2000s F250 w/ V10 with decent mileage wouldn’t be a bad truck.
@USAFdozerpilot thx my Grandpa used to work for Allison Transmission back in the late 80s
@1980scarlover definitely one of the best auto transmission manufacturers hands down.
Agreed
Too bad the old Dodges are always disasters on the inside at that age.
@7-3punchina3-4 Completely agree.
My uncle had 2 Ram Cummins pickups. a 93' 250 5.9 and an 07' 6.7. He never had a problem with either.
