- 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, 105k miles. Automatic
- have a service electronic stability light on. Dealer said it’ll be 1500 to fix it (electronic vacuum sensor and pump)
- I need to know if it more beneficial to fix it or trade it in.
- Of note, alternator, battery, and wire harness just replaced last month

You should avoid the dealer and get a 2nd opinion from a good independent mechanic. Dealers are the most expensive option even if they don't blatantly rip you off, which many of them do. Also avoid chains like Midas, Pep Boys, Firestone, etc.
Stellantis products are poor quality overall and not good long-term vehicles, but if you decide to get rid of it you'll get more if there are no warning lights or other malfunctions.
