Here's an example of why we tell people not to go to dealerships for anything other than warranty or recall repairs. In this case the dealer rips off their customer by charging for turning brake rotors as part of a brake job without doing it, and further tries to rip her off for a new transmission. (This is not an isolated incident. Remember service writers are paid on commission and service managers receive bonuses on how much profit they generate!) Fortunately in this case the customer declined the bigger scam and got a second opinion...

Thieves and criminals, plain and simple. At minimum their business license should be revoked, and I think a little jail time wouldn't hurt either.
