I always hear people online talking about how bad Nissans are. I have a 2013 Nissan Altima 2.5l SL with 157,000miles+ (mostly highway miles). I’m a pretty conservative driver and the CVT fluid has always been changed out on regular basis. Nothing wrong with it but how concerned should I be with the CVT? Scares me to know how many peoples transmissions go out before 100,000miles!! Thank you.
Keep up with CVT maintenance and do not drive the car hard to get the most out of it. Here is the reasons yours has not been problematic:

As @yaser mentioned, highway mileage = 10% of city mileage.
With your driving & maintenance style, it might still be a long time before you start to have trouble.
