Hi Scotty,
I have 08 ford focus with a 5speed manual transmission. The gear grinds slightly when shifting in to third gear. The vehicle only has 60,000 miles, is this worth repairing or should I just live with it?

live with it because that means the synchro mesh on third gear is going out and you would have to split the case and rebuild the transmission not worth it

When the engine is warmed up, try to skip that gear by shifting from 2nd to 4th and vice versa.
