Hey everyone,
I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson with about 74000 miles. I have had it since it was at 37000 miles. Within the last two weeks, whenever I accelerate at all, there’s this growling noise (kind of sounds like a Diesel) coming from the engine. The check engine light came on two days ago so I haven’t been driving it. Its also been running rough and slightly makes the noise when I start the car but when it’s idling and when I get going on the road there’s no noise.
Can you please make a YouTube video of the noise and post the link here?
Scan for codes and provide it here.
Did you transfer the warranty?
What engine do you have? is it the 2.0 MPi, 2.0 GDi, or a 1.6 T-GDi?
And also did the previous issue (transmission) get solved?
Also as always, with any kind of engine noise - check oil level and color!
