Gday Scotty my name is Phill from Australia and I was hoping you could help with a hard hot start with a 2005 ford courier 4.0l v6 5 speed manual 4x4 crew cab with 147.000 klms it's a great truck that starts easily when cold but difficult when hot. It cranks properly and battery checks out fine if I cycle key on off 3 times it starts right up.a mechanic said to try crank sensor which didn't fix it he also said it doesn't have obd port I'm on a fixed income so don't want to replace a bunch of parts it doesn't need thanks Scotty love your channel

Generally, this indicates that the injectors are partially clogged and flooding the engine when hot. You could try have the injectors pressure cleaned or replaced.
