i have a 08 fusion se 142,000 miles 5 speed auto. fnr5 trans
my car had a extremely hard shift to revrerse for a long time jolting the whole car, was putting out code p0771. just cleared the code and transmission shifts perfect and engine and trans light are off so far (100 miles later) do you think i have a bad tcm or pcm if so which one

P0771 is Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck off. You would have to end up replacing the shift solenoid E valve.
