What’s causing my hard steering wheel?

Hello,

I hear a noise when I turn my steering and its hard especially when moving very slowly. I find it difficult to park in a tight space as its very hard to turn. I had the power steering oil changed and the mechanic confirmed there is no obvious leak in the steering rack or around the oil reservoir. Please what should I do or what's the possible issue and fix please? I use a Toyota Camry 2007 2.4L Automatic Transmission. Thank you

Did you use a brand new pump? If you did, then it might be the rack itself -

No, It's a used pump I was told works fine from a junk yard

Yeah, I wouldn’t trust a used power steering pump -

Thank you all.

No worries & all the best.

Power steering pump is on its way out.

Thank you for the response. However, I tried mounting a different power steering pump but it made no difference. Are there other options I can try?

Listen to what @InThrustWeTrust pointed out.
