I am interested in buying a vehicle to mostly travel back and forth our summer cabin here in Finland (100miles one way). We are beginning to have adequate enough infrastructure for CNG and Biogas, the latter which interests me the most because it is waste turned into energy with little pollution. Government subsidizes the conversion from petrol to gas. This will be my first car however and I know nothing about them..
The car that most interests me at the moment is the GMC Typhoon. After that:
- Jeep Wagoneer, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Jeep Cherokee XJ , Chevrolet Blazer, Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60/62
- Wife likes the older styles, from the 1980's
- We do not need a car with a big engine. Conversion costs for them are higher and we do not need an off-road adventure vehicle. Maybe a 4 litre engine could be max?
- Budget is up to 25,000USD purchase price
- Willing to import from Europe, possibly from the USA
Is this a reasonable plan and any tips for my search? By next summer/autumn 2022 we need to find one.
Best regards,
Anssi

Then why are you looking at proper SUVs?
Just get a crossover or sedan as it sounds like that’s all you need.
Personally I would not buy any of those American products they're not very well made. Now the Toyota is a great pic but you said you don't want a big engine and those that big engines and our gas ox. I personally would look for a smaller Toyota or Honda myself
