Searching on [snow socks tire covers] I find a product that claims you can greatly improve traction by putting these things on your tires. Has anyone used them? Do they hold up after repeated uses? Are the more expensive ones actually better? Are they as easy to install as it is claimed, just put them on half way, roll the car? Do you recommend them?
I drive a Nissan Cube with low ground clearance. I only need them for 200ft or poorly plowed road until I reach the road that is normally well plowed and salted. But they might be useful if I hit highway that was not properly salted.
