2014 F150 coyote engine 4x4 ecab 8ftbed
sometimes heat is on and cannot be shut off by fan or temp dial. turning engine off and back on solves the problem, usually.

Well you obviously have some kind of electrical short. Unfortunately those things are super complex run by computers and as such you got to find a guy like me with a dealer level scan tool where you have to do bi-directional testing of all the devices to try to figure out. Is it a switch? Is it a relay or is it a computer module failure. Good luck!
