Hi I have a 2005 Toyota Corolla Tsport(uk) with a 2zzge engine with 113k miles on it. The problem is the heat coming out of the vents is barely lukewarm. I've done several heater core flushes both ways and water comes out with a steady flow and have bled in multiple times, I've replaced the cabin filter, I've had the water pump and and thermostat replaced and even replaced the radiator cap and had it pressure tested and it came back all good. But there is still no heat and a constant gurgling sound coming from from behind the dash.
Any suggestions Thanks:)
Ps both hoses coming from the heater core are hot and there is no coolant leak that I can tell.
Gurgling suggests air still in the system that needs to be bled out. Have you tested your blend door for correct operation?
I tried to bleeding the system to the best of my ability. I had the front end up on jackstands and even took it to the steepest hill I know and squeezed the hoses and waited for all the air bubbles to stop. I also paid a garage to have a look and they hooked it up to a machine that was meant to suck all the air out and still no heat. The blend door actuator work fine I think as the air temperature goes cold when I turn the temperature to Cold
