AC blows warm

My wife's car is a 2013 dodge avenger. The ac doesn't work and I've been messing around with it trying to figure it out and this is where I'm at. The radiator fan does not come on when u turn the ac on so it does not get cold. Once I unplugged the high pressure switch and plugged it back up, the fan kicked in and it started blowing cold air. It works fine until the car is shut off. Then when u start the car again u have to unplug the sensor again. Is the sensor bad or something else? Oh and by the way the ac is charged up the right amount. Thanks for the help!

Typical Dodge their electrical systems stink. Realize that AC system is completely run by computer modules and as many sensors and activators on. Your best bet is to find a guy like me to hook up as fancy scan till I'm looking all the HVAC data and try to figure out what's going wrong. It could be a computer module. It could be a sensor. It could be wiring. It could be a zillion different things. You really need a machine like that and a good mechanic to analyze those complex system. Now some guys will just run a hot wire from the battery positive to the compressor closet. If it comes on it works. The wire it with a toggle switch in a fuse and run it that way rather than spend a fortune. Trying to figure out how the computer crap on a Dodge is broken down

Thanks for the help! I have a guy with a scanner looking into it. He said the same thing u did. If he can't find out for sure what is wrong with it without spending a lot of money, I think he's going to run a wire and a relay. Again thanks for the advice!
