1999 Buick Century stalls out

i have a 99 buick century custom that will not stay running without my foot on gas pedal.. ive changed oil and filter, fuel filter, and pcv but the rubber part that holds my pcv broke when i took old one out so i gorilla taped it hoping itll create suction.. but thats after my car has been stalling out lol...i will try n figure out how to attach pictures.. plz help youre the best mechanic ive seen so far

If it started doing this after that "creative" repair work you need to replace the broken part. It's probably a mammoth vacuum leak.

These guys claim to have the thermal bypass pipe for Buick Century (GM Part #12590279), probably leftover old stock:

Failing that you should be able to obtain a good used part from a junkyard.

The grommet you broke only holds the pcv valve in position.  If it is hooked up correctly to a vacuum port on the intake manifold, it will work if it's in good shape.

hi thanks first and foremost i was looking at it and where it goes in the manifold its very wiggly and loose like somethings missing also i have something called a thermostat bypass pipe that has the thing on top to relieve pressure from my cooling line it sits on top of where water pump is and goes around side where it goes into a rubber tube that goes into something thats under the port on firewall where i recharge my refrigerant... its been leaking antifreeze for weeks but i cant replace it its discontinued since february
