This is a hypothetical question for me to understand more about engine swapping, because I'm basically a noob at cars. So ignoring size what problems would I encounter with putting a dodge Hellcat Engine into a Pontiac g8 base model (v6)?

I mean its all a matter of willpower. How bad do you want the transmission to fit? Maybe a full cut down the middle and a custom transmission tunnel and a high rise hood to fit the supercharger? It all depends on how crazy you want to go...

The easiest way (in my option) is to find a wrecked but running hellcat (charger, challenger etc..) That way your will have a ton of donor parts like the wiring harness, computer, transmission, radiator, how it mounts, some fuel stuff, AC, dash cluster, etc (assuming everything fits). You will have a lot of bugs along the way and the computer will throw a ton of codes. It would take a long time but can also be a lot of fun.

It will cost you more then the car is worth.

It not the engine swap, upgrade in brakes systen etc .

But if you have the cash anything can be done
