Scotty i have a 2008 chrysler 300 with a 3.5 L and 280k miles on the clock, engine and transmission is still running strong and smoothly but the whole suspension is done, its still the stock one as well, all bushings and shocks are done, will it be worth replacing it? The rack and pinion its still good, but also the center bearing for the drive shaft is shocked so i was thinking of just replacing all the flex couplings and the center one since the whole driveshaft is going to be out. I can do all the work myself but will it be worth it? I put some cheap lower control arms for the mean time because it got that bad that I couldn't drive the car but right now its parked.
You are a lucky man, that you got 280k miles out of a 13 year old Chrysler.
You are lucky you got almost 300 thousand miles it's worth practically nothing in fact negative value so I would kiss it bye bye and get another car.
If you want to sell the car, you won't get that much for it. On the other hand, you should say good bye to whatever money you put in that car, So it is really up to you if you can drive it now, drive till the wheels fall off.
One more option: You may try to sell it to the Youtuber "Hoovies Garage", I think he lives in Kansas too and he may buy it.
yeah fix it ur gonna be taking it to the grave or till it bankrupts u whichever first. its not worth anything to trade
