I have 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. The remote starter blue and so did my aftermarket amp fuse. My mechanic said something to do with the can system is broken. I need help on this ASAP.
This is why Scotty recommends not to use aftermarket starters and stuff like that. The Can is the module is the that talks and shares info to the rest of the computers in the car if it's damaged you'd want someone who is a pro with car electronics to help you fix it because if some jobber gets in there and tries they could ruin your car. I know its a bummer when something like this happens and I wish you the best.
I've heard Eric O over at South Main Auto, and Ivan over at Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics say the same thing. Usually, they are somewhere between disgusted and frustrated at the poor quality of aftermarket dash-centric add-ons that produce some insanely incompetent wiring.
