Help!! I have a 2007 Honda Ridgeline RT automatic, 4WD ,, my VTM-4 , VSA, and the triangle with the ! ,, and engine light is on ! Only scan code was P6159 ,, any suggestions would be great. I don’t know where to even start at. Help me Scotty!

Any suggestions? Maybe where to even start, I just purchased this truck 4 days ago , had to replace the battery , had to ground the ac compressor to get it to come on, then all those lights came on. It’s a 3.5 VTech motor ,

I haven’t encountered this problem. With that said, this is how I would go about it.

Google the code and your year make and model.

This is what I got:

Electronic Throttle Control System Control Relay

So most likely, it is a bad relay, or a bad harness or connection to the relay.

I’d check that first.

If that doesn’t solve it, it might be a:

  • Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

Good luck! Let us know know how it goes!
