Today I was driving to work and i came to a stop and saw that my rpm was going up and i was like what the hell is going on i started driving and my car was like accelerating its self faster then it usually does without pressing the throttle. I gave it gas and it shifted but still acted weird so i came to a stop put it in park turned it off. Turned it back on and it was fine but I didn't drive it since i got to work. Someone please tell me what it is I have a lexus is250 2010

There's no way to tell from here without more information. A complete diagnostic scan, including codes and live data, might be helpful.
Of course you could start with the simple stuff such as cleaning the MAF sensor and throttle body to see if that helps. Since that car has an electronic throttle it would be worth checking the gas pedal sensor for proper operation.
