I booked a 2022 Toyota Corolla hybrid in February while I’m still waiting for the delivery, I went to Honda dealership with my friend to see the 2022 Honda Civic that he is buying and to be honest I liked how the new civic looks and perform. I want to ask Scotty if I should stick to my Toyota Corolla hybrid or should I buy civic. Thanks In advance
Between the two I personally prefer the Civic; the interior is more roomy compared to the Corolla and I like the ride better. But with the Civic if you want it to last longer get the 2.0L NA engine which is LX or Sport trim. The EX and Touring have the 1.5L turbocharged engine which longitivtiy is unknown, but if for whatever reason you decided on the turbo then a Honda turbo is better than other manufacturers.
I personally like the Civic better than the Corolla, based on looks and feels.
Likewise, for hybrid, I usually recommend a Toyota over a Honda, for projected reliability and longevity, since Toyota has been doing it for so long.
With that said, a Civic Hybrid would add an interesting dilemma.

I think he's simply asking new Corolla versus new Civic.
Whatever.
