hi Scotty
I have a 2007 mercedes c230 manual gear box with 190k miles . The radeator fan runs on high when the car is running hot or cold . The fan turns off 2 minutes after the car is turned off.the overflow tank to the radeator added about 2 inches of antifreeze when it gets up to temp then drops to normal when cold . I have changed the overflow cap , same issues.
Any ideas

The temperature sensor that turns on the fans is probably defective.
It is normal for coolant level in the tank to rise and fall with temperature. That's basic physics.
