Hey Scotty, I’m look for a new Truck. I found a 2015 Toyota Tundra 161k miles for 18k. Well taken care of. Is it safe to assume a lot of those miles are highway miles? And would you think I’m getting ripped off . Thanks
It might just be me but 18k seems expensive for a 6.5 year old Tundra with over 160k miles. They depreciate slowly and if that is what they go for with that miles (though they can last a lot more) I'd look for one with lower miles as the price difference probably won't be much. If you are ok with the price and its in good mechanical shape why not go ahead.
That is an excellent truck that will last you forever. The problem with Tacomas and Tundras is that they depreciate extremely slowly. Therefore you will pay through the nose for one. If you are ok with the price go ahead and buy it.
