I have a 2004 Ford Focus SE Wagon with the 2.3L that I bought from Pick n Pull years ago. It currently has 217000 miles on it and yes, the heat is still hot and the A/C still blows cold. Years ago the tranny went into limp mode and I took it to a shop, $800 bucks later it was back to normal but they said it was shot. I thought that was strange since it was working normally but what ever. It's been about 4 years and now the check engine light is on and I have code P0702 - Transmission Control System Electrical. I never changed the fluid and filter since it was fixed because I had no idea you had to do that until I saw Scotty's videos. It seems to shift normally so I figured what have I got to lose and changed the fluid and filter. I cleared the code but haven't had a chance to drive anywhere yet. Am I on borrowed time?
