Hi scotty, love your channel.
I have a 2016 Toyota gt86 manual 24k miles, and my brakes squeak whenever I press the pedal when driving. It's not a loud squeak.
I just had it serviced and the mechanic told me the brake pads still have about half of the padding left, so they're not worn out yet.
What could it be?

As they age they often make a little bit of noise like that the rotors are just made out of cast iron and they rust sitting in the air and so they'll often squeak the first time you step on them I wouldn't worry about it
