I have a problem with my 2005 volvo xc70 2.5 turbo.
The car intermittently hesitates, occasionally on the highway or on gentle acceleration. Today was at 40 to 50 Mph with gentle acceleration. My basic scanner showed no codes and a constant 300Kpa fuel pressue 43 to 46 psi on live data at idle, 1500 and 3000 rpm. Idle Rpm is steady, not fluctuating.
I had my local mechanic do a diagnostic and he had a code for the throttle body. The reccomendation was to clean the throttle body, which I have done. I also changed the plugs and fuel filter, cleaning the MAF sensor too. The mechanic said that the live data was within the perameters.
There has been an improvement after my work, but the underlying issue is still there.
Any Ideas would be appreciated.
Geoff
If it is within parameters, it is probably just wear and tear that has occurred over time. That or the turbo is wearing out a bit and not being as efficient in supplying boost.
