Hey forum, I haven't forgot you. Old man having health issues.
But I still check in and do my moderating duties.
So check this out.
I just bought a Ford F350, 4 wheel drive, jacked up 6 inches for $4,000.
I did my due diligence.
It's got 192,000 miles on it. V8.
It's good.
What do you guys think about it?

Cool looking truck! Yeah, this getting old stuff pretty much stinks but the topside of the grass is still looking better!
Nice find, especially for that price!
Very nice. That looks to be 2005'ish?
My boss swears by the 20 year old diesel 350's and keeps them going, and going, and going .... and that's with rural farm use and frequent heavy towing. He just got a second one that we've been working on. Next it's going to get a flat bed. Working on Ford's has been a learning experience for me (coming from GM world), and so has working on the trailer. We just fabbed a new tongue after old one cracked on a job, and I replaced the dual axle suspension on it. I pull it behind our Dodge 5500 4WD. As for me my GMC van, it's still going strong. I just put new brakes and rotors (NAPA fleet duty) on the front, and it will need new tires pretty soon , but I'll stick it out until next year.
Good to hear from you again Jack.
