I have a 2000 mercury grand marquis with 98k miles on it sometimes when I start it it will shake a little bit and cut back off the when I try again it starts right up.
Do you still live in houston I live in Conroe I would only want you to work on my car you seem very honest.

Is it damp when you start it check plugs leads distributer if it has one coils if it does it when its runnung faulty injectors sticking valve

It doesn't have a distributor.

Put it on an analyzer, find out what's wrong, fix it. Not likely moisture, maybe injectors, more likely plugs/coils.
