Hi Scotty! Thanks for your videos and for sharing your knowledge. I saw one of your videos about buying used vehicles and you mentioned not to go cheap to buy a used car. What would be a good price for a used say SUV? say a toyota highlander or rav4 or acura mdx or rdx?

The price of a cars depends entirely on the year, mileage , condition, options etc. etc.

You should buy the nicest, newest, lowest mileage car that your budget will afford you.

Agree with the first line. Disagree with second line, a car doesn't have to be the newest, nicest, it just has to meet the need at the lowest cost.

If your need is to get from point A to point B then there are a lot of cars that meet that need, but that you SHOULD NOT buy. I believe that cars are not something you should cheap out on.

Scotty says buy cheap cars, he means to buy a car that maybe cosmetically is not in the best status, but the other parts (powertrain, frame,...) are in a good status. In the other words: buy cheap but do not buy junker.
