I have a 2012 Dodge Durango citadel with the 5.7 hemi, I have had it for 4 years now and every time I start it up it sounds like a Diesel truck starting up and then it goes away I don’t drive it a lot I got it at 42,000 miles and it now has 94,000 miles on it I drive my 1993 ford ranger I got for free thank to your advice, I’m seen what can be the issue with my Durango and your thoughts on the Durango..thanks Ric from Seattle

Timing chains will rattle before they are fully oiled and warmed up. Perhaps that's the case, here.
