Hey Scotty hope you’re doing well in “🎾C”,
I have a 2015 GMC Sierra with 59,000 miles on it, I’ve noticed some small drops of fluid on the garage floor where the truck sits and it looks like it’s coming from the rear differential, what could this mean and should I get this checked out ASAP?

Find out where it's dripping from. There has to be a wet spot on your truck somewhere.
If it's the axle cover, then just snug up the cover bolts a bit.. Open the fill hole, and check the level with your pinkie. (your manual should state if it should be right up to the hole, or 1/2" below, etc.).
If that doesn't help, then you need to replace the gasket, which is an easy job.
