I am having a problem come up with a GMC Terrain SLT 2016, 2.4 L 4 Cylinder, this often only happens in traffic or after slowing down and speeding back up in general.
Sometimes the engine light and stabiltrak track light will come on, and then the car will have issues with shifting gears, and lurching forward at times. I dont notice any other issues occurring other than that.
It usually stops after a bit, especially after getting on the highway and speeding up, and after I park and stop the car for a bit it fixes itself. Its been more of an annoyance but I am worried about it being a deeper issue.
When reading the engine light code, it says its a wiring code (U0073), but I was reading thats a general code to pop up too. Any ideas?

The code definition is: "Control Module Communication Bus A Off/CAN Bus Communication"
But you need to pay attention to which module/system is reporting this trouble code (may require a better scanner to tell you).
That module has lost communication with the rest of the vehicle, and could be causing your issues. When you find that out, then you can proceed with diagnosing that module, and find out if it's a wiring issue or whatever.

maybe janky connection somewhere and the braking/acceleration movement is wiggling a wire/connnector. Who knows. More information needed.
You may also want to have your electrical system tested to see if it's keeping a good voltage.
