- Hey Scotty I have a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta gli vr6 that has a hotstart issue. Any ideas on how to resolve?
Can you better describe your problem please? Does it crank? Does it start then die? Does it run rough?

Well if it doesn't crank when it's hot you probably need a new starter. If it cranks and eventually starts and puts black smoke it's flooding out and you got to figure out why it's flooding out from too much fuel. If it cranks and starts and there is no smoke you're not getting any fuel which could be a bad fuel pump or fuel pump relay
