hey man my names Nyxon I’m from brantford , ontario , I would really like if you could try to help me diagnose what’s going on with my car . I own a 2010 Jaguar XF 5.0 premium luxury trim . The cars in great shape and only has 170,000kms . I have scanned it and there are no codes , I’ve swapped air filters , spark plugs , oil , power steering fluid , and coolant . But when I drive the car the rpm and speed gauge go up and down about 5% constantly . It’s really annoying and I really wanna fix it , any suggestions on what could be causing this fluctuation ?! I also wanna note that 10% of the time when starting the car the rpm and speed gauge go below zero for a couple seconds then shoot up to where they should be . Wondering if it’s a bad ground in tachometer ???? Or a bad sensor ? Thanks man !
If you're traveling into the US as far as Clarksville Tennessee, you can contact him to see if he is available: https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/postid/158877/
If you're not traveling into the US, we don't have anything to go on. Is your Check Engine Light on? If so, you have codes that are stored.
Wow those are notorious for the tachometers going bad. Obviously your car can't go below zero. If it does it would stall out
