2011 Honda Accord 200,000 miles hard to start when engine warm

Hey Scotty, I have a 2011 Honda Accord with 200k miles. It is hard to start whenever I drive around with it some time 30mn to 1h plus. I always have to wait for the engine to cool down a little for it to start. Thank you!

Mechanic think it might be the fuel pump but the car has no engine light. Help!

A bad fuel pump usually doesn't set off the engine light.

I have the same problem with my 2004 Camry XLE, could be 4 things, check the spark plugs before messing with the fuel system, if that isn't the problem, then get your fuel line flushed out, check the filter first and if that doesn't need to be replaced, then replace the Fuel pump, get one from a salvage yard, much cheaper, wont last too long but it'll at least hold you off, that's what I'm doing.

Hope this helps

Start with a fuel pressure test and spark plug test. You can watch Scotty's videos on how to fix an engine that won't start but cranks in the link above. Since a bad fuel pump doesn't trigger a check engine light (according to mountainman), your mechanic might be correct. Start simple and go on from there. Good luck!
