My mechanic tells me that the fuel line is badly rusted on my 2000 Corolla with 215,000 miles. Can I make a cheap and easy repair myself by replacing the metal fuel line with high-pressure (60 psi) fuel injection hose and clamping it on the ends of the metal line?

Sure I do that all the time just make sure you get high pressure fuel line made for gasoline and not other types of oil
