Hey Scotty. I wanted to get your opinion on whether it would be better to get a 2021 Toyota Tundra since I know that was the last year for the V8 or if i should get a newer F250. This is will be my 1st truck ever owned and I would like to get something that will last me a long time but also one that will serve its purpose for most jobs as far as payload and hauling.

Toyota doesn't make a heavy duty truck, so the previous generation tundra was intended to a little on the tough side, sort of a compromise (I had a 2014, and I loved it but it did ride a bit on the rough side compared to the others - especially the Ram).

If you intend to tow over 10,000 pounds (or carry over 1000-1500 in the bed), you'll have to get a proper 3/4-ton, like an F250.  But less than that and the tundra should be fine.  A well-maintained tundra with the iForce V8 should last forever.

You're not comparing apples to apples

it really depends on what you're trying to do with the truck

For future reference please keep in mind that the title line is for a short description, not your full text which belongs in the body of your post. Thank you. (Title edited.)
