The Vitz with the 1.5L should last longer, however, the Swift should have cheaper parts, depending on your location. 

Since they’re both used vehicles, a lot would also depend on the present condition both vehicles are in. 

Go with the one which has lower mileage and if it passes a thorough pre-purchase inspection.

Another good option to consider (if it’s available in your region) is the Honda Jazz/Fit. 2014 should have been the super reliable GE model nomenclature.

The 2014 Suzuki Swift is the old generation, before it actually got good.

Later they released the next generation with a 1.4T that didn't have serious issues expect for intake value buildup.

Look The 1.6L inside of the Swift Sport, according to the internet, was modified by Suzuki.

These modifications like low friction piston rings, and they also "cammed" it - things that can affect durability.

Only ~130 hp, modified, small hatch that the first owners probably have already probably beat the crap out of it? 

Yeah I'd avoid that.

As fat as the Yaris, it's also crap - the same 1.5L as used by Chinese cars, has nothing to do with sport.

Not a very good engine in it's Otto cycle variant, they wear out quite fast even if you don't drive "enthusiastically"

And in this case this is just a Yaris 1.5L with a badge telling you how "Racing Sport" its 109 horsepower are.

So if you want a Yaris 1.5L, try to find one that wasn't abused...

Personally I wouldn't get either, the regular Swift manual - maybe you can find a current gen manual Suzuki Swift?

Even with the reliable 6AT and the smallest 1.0T engine the Swift does 0-100kmh in around 10 seconds, so only 1.3 seconds slower than the old "sport" while being dependable and not getting destroyed by kids who want a "sport" or a "RS" badge.
