2006 Scion tC
I took my car to get aligned, drove it afterwards and it was super off so I took it back. They aligned it again and a couple months later, I had a clunking noise. The jam nut for the tie rod was loose and wobbling around. How did it come loose? Should I be worried? Im going on a 15 hour road trip in two weeks !!!!

It came loose because they probably didn't tighten it. Take it back, again, and tell them to do the job correctly.

I would be. Make sure it's tightened following the service manual torque spec, and then monitor it for a while.
