1992 Mitsubishi Galant 188k, I’m trying to figure out why, I replaced the radiator cap with one that has a safety lever, but when it’s hot I open the lever a bit and it slowly drips out but then stops. It don’t circulate. What could be the issue.

Well first of all I would only use an original radiator cap aftermarket ones off and do not fit correctly and do not work right.

Either a bad radiator cap (or the wrong pressure) or a stuck open thermostat.
