Hey there Scotty i want to buy a rav4 either a 2018 or 2019. I heard that the 2019 have some transmission issues with the 8 speed automatic. What do you recommend?

Hey there Scotty i want to buy a rav4 either a 2018 or 2019. I heard that the 2019 have some transmission issues with the 8 speed automatic but i love the body. What do you recommend?

People do not like the 8 speed AT becuase of the way it shifts. There is nothing wrong with it and the way it shifts is to improve the gas mileage. You can test drive both and see if you like the way it drives.
