Hey Scotty,
I understand you like to cover electric cars a lot. I had a question what you think about Nikola the company after they renovated their company? They seem to recently have been producing fuel cell trucks.
Thanks!
If by fuel cell, it means hydrogen fuel cell, if the mandates and the mission is lower to zero emission vehicles, this may be the better bet than pure electric for large vehicles like semi trucks. Batteries are just too heavy at this point in time, to power a truck. And hydrogen is (relatively) lighter as an electric power source than batteries.
TBH, although more emissions than others, I still think diesel is the best bang for the buck in terms of weight, distance, and energy output. But because of emissions at the tailpipe, is seen as a less favorable option.
