- Hi! Considering buying a 2019 Mazda CX5 Signature Turbo, it has a clean Carfax, original 1 owner vehicle, being sold through the original selling Mazda dealer. Prior owner according to the dealership says prior owner is in sales, therefore the high milage of just under 70,000 miles. If true, majority highway miles much gentler than city or combined, vehicle should have decent mechanical life. New, the vehicle sold for about $38k+-, asking about $24k. What is you thought on buying; worth the risk for another 7+ years of use/84,000 miles?

Two red flags:
Dealer sells it and the car was owned by a salesman, which probably did not care about the maintenance. I would personally pass, too risky for me.

I would finance another 4-5 grand and just buy a 2019 with less miles
