my grandpas dodge has a heater core problem how to fix
What kind of problem? Can you be more specific?

If the heater core is leaking, replace it with one from AutoZone #398313 - $67.99. If it's another problem, check the function of the heater blower resistor. They burn out in old trucks like yours.
