Hey I have a 2003 Lexus LS 430 I bought the car about two weeks ago and the car drives amazing now my brother in law is been telling to replace the transmission fluid but I don’t think that is necessary so tell me what would u recommend Thank you

that depends on :
- your mileage
- the manufacturer specified change interval
- the service history

If it’s high mileage and you don’t know the service history of the vehicle, do not replace it.
Replacing it now may cause it to start slipping (if the fluid has never been changed).

Well I replaced the old dark old fluid in my LS400 by the drain and fill multple times method. Sometimes harsh shifting went away. Runs perfect now. use correct fluid. I do a 2 quart drain and fill once every year.
