Hi Scotty, I have a 2017 Lexus RX 350 Fsport 120,000 miles, dealer maintained, I have codes P0117, P0175, P0172. Took it to the Lexus dealer and they said all 12 fuel injectors need to be replaced. I highly disbelieve them. I’m looking to get a second opinion. I asked which fuel injectors are bad they said all. Again, I don’t believe it. I know how greedy dealerships are. These codes represents 3 different could be issues in which they never verified that they check anything but fuel injectors. Here’s the issue, car stalls at a red light not everyday but at least once a week. After I filled up at Shell station, the car stalled again at a red light. The engine, 2nd engaged, 4wd disengaged, ICS lights on the dash. Once, the lights went off by them selves for a week and then appeared at startup after work. I been researching and reading a lot lately so that I have some sort of knowledge regarding this situation. Could the MAF sensor, Coolant sensor, evap canister sensor, be the corporate since the codes point to it? I know the air filter could be too.
Well lots of things could do that. And I have never seen a fuel injector go bad on a Lexus so I'd be very leery about that analysis. Now if you got bad gas or something that can make data go weird and they get a bad analysis of it. If I were you, I'd get a second opinion
Hi. Thanks,
That’s what I’m going to do. Update
I used chevron full fuel complete system as well as the CRC 505 with premium fuel the last couple weeks and the stalling hasn’t returned however the lights are still on the dash. Will take it to anither auto shop for a second opinion. Thanks again.
