Hi Scotty! I have a Hyundai Sonata 2012 with 92,500 miles. The car slips a lot and transmission fluid has never been changed. Do you recommend putting Lucas tranny fix? Thanks!
For the record, I had similar issue with my corolla with 60k on odometer. Toyota dealer does not want to change transmission fluid till 100k
That "lifetime fluid" nonsense being peddled is just that: nonsense. I really don't understand it, the dealers are turning down money for a service that you actually want them to do rather than having to go to the trouble of huckstering snake oil to reluctant victims. Lack of maintenance is a death sentence for any automatic transmission, I don't care who makes it.
Well said
Don't bother. If you haven't changed the fluid and filter in nearly 100K miles, it's too late now, especially for a Hyundai.

What did you do to resolve the slipping?
You can try and see if you can get anymore life out of it. As the same time you can change the filter if possible and reuse the old fluid.
That stuff is a bandaid and a last ditch effort, but it MAY buy you some time, so why not.
The transmission has been ruined due to lack of maintenance. Nothing to lose by trying the Lucas additive, it might buy a little more time, but really at this point you need to be saving money for a replacement vehicle.
