Hi Scotty, I watch your YouTube vids all the time. I'm in the market for a used Toyota Rav 4. I saw a 1998 with 165k mileage for $1999. Ehat should I look for to buy this car and I'm sure I will need to have a mechanic look at it, right?

They were very reliable vehicles, but are really unsafe, small, and have really low interior quality as well and I think its too old to get in 2021. Just hire a mechanic to check this car out because it is a 24 year old car and anything can be wring with it honestly. It was a great vehicle as I said, but for modern day standards it fails all of the other categories and reliability shouldn't be your main concern.
